On shadows and structure
This season leaned heavily into the interplay of concealment and reveal. I found myself drawn to places where light breaks through narrow openings — cathedral shafts, nightclub lasers, Venetian blinds — and wanted the clothing to echo that same sense of mystery.
What's next for PlayNaughty Designs
A small capsule collection is in the works for early summer focused on liquid textures and translucent layering. Expect iridescent finishes, sculptural neckpieces, and a new nail concept inspired by deep-sea bioluminescence.
Behind the design: Velvet Noir Gown
The Velvet Noir Gown started as a sketch for a concert outfit. I wanted the fabric to read as both matte and luminous depending on the light — something that catches attention from across a sim without looking like it's trying too hard.
Work in progress: ink experiments
Testing new tattoo textures using layered alpha masks and animated UV shifts. The goal is movement — ink that feels alive rather than printed. Early previews are promising.
